Software programming has always been my passion and profession…producing Arab-developed software business solutions, with International standards, has always been my dream. However, there are some thoughts that I have preserved at the back of my mind along the road. During my study of Civil Engineering at the University of Alexandria, Egypt, Dr. Salah Seleem has fed us with the core business ethics that one should follow in the IT business. “Do not take advantage of others’ lack of knowledge to sell your product, do not pretend to know what you really don’t, do not hide information and always share your knowledge”…those were his exact words. That’s why the very first thing a new employee at CivilSoft is being taught is how to hold on to his/her integrity and transparency while developing the company’s product or business.
